Artifical Intellegence and Embodied Practice

We’re living in a moment of massive transformation.
AI and large language models (LLMs) are shifting how we work, create, and lead—whether we’re ready or not. At the same time, many of us are committed to work that is deeply human, trauma-informed, and ecological. We don’t want to default into a future that prioritizes efficiency over care. So how do we hold both? How do we explore what’s emerging without losing our roots? How do we experiment together—without rushing to conclusions? These are the questions we’re sitting with. And we know we’re not alone. That’s why we’re hosting a private salon series—not as experts, but as fellow leaders and learners who want to navigate this terrain in community. (If you'd like the longer, more personal version of this reflection, read this Substack post.)
Who This Is For & What We’ll Explore
These salons are for anyone who is actively thinking about:
- The intersection of AI, leadership, and human-centered work
- How to integrate new tools without losing relational depth
- Privacy, governance, energy use, and other ethical considerations
- What all of this means for small teams, nonprofits, and purpose-driven businesses
Whether you’re already experimenting with AI or just starting to think about it, this space is for exploring without pressure to “figure it out.” We’re bringing real-time questions into these salons—not predetermined answers. Some of the threads we’ll be holding together:
- How are AI tools affecting our capacity, nervous systems, and leadership styles?
- What are the real risks—privacy, governance, energy use—and what do we need to know?
- What experiments are people running in small orgs, teams, and creative spaces?
- How do we stay rooted in reflective practice while engaging with these tools?
Expect open conversation, shared insights, and room to process in real-time.

- The best solutions will come from people who hold nuance well.
This isn’t a webinar. It’s not a training. It’s a space to explore openly, without needing to have it all sorted. If that resonates, we’d love to have you with us. The recordings from these sessions will not be shared. They’re designed as psychologically safe spaces where we can be in the inquiry together.
